This notice is provided under Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles for Fulfilling the Obligation to Inform. It explains how we process the personal data of people who contact us through arbitextile.com. The Turkish version of this notice prevails.

1. Data controller

2. Personal data we process

When you use the enquiry form or visit our site we process:

Identity: your first and last name.
Contact: your work email address.
Customer transaction: the brand you represent, the product categories you ask about, number of styles, season and your notes.
Transaction security: IP address, browser and device information, time of the request and server logs.

3. Purposes

Assessing your production enquiry, replying to you and preparing a quotation,
Carrying out pre-contract discussions,
Keeping the site and the enquiry form secure and preventing misuse,
Meeting legal obligations and requests from competent authorities.

4. Legal grounds

We process your personal data on the following grounds under Article 5(2) KVKK:

(c) processing is directly related to the conclusion or performance of a contract (replying to your enquiry and preparing a quotation),
(ç) processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation of the data controller,
(f) processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms (site and information security).

5. How we collect it

Electronically through the enquiry form on our site, and automatically through server logs when you visit the site.

6. Transfers

Your personal data may be shared only for the purposes above and only as far as necessary with:

Our service providers: Cloudflare, Inc. for hosting the site and storing your enquiry. Its servers may be located outside Türkiye, in particular in the United States and the European Union. Transfers abroad are made with one of the appropriate safeguards set out in Article 9 KVKK.
Competent public authorities: where required by law and to the extent requested.

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing.

7. Retention

Information sent through the enquiry form is kept for no longer than 2 years after your enquiry is closed. If a business relationship is formed, the retention periods required by law apply. Data is then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under Article 11 KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:

learn whether your personal data is processed,
request information about the processing,
learn the purpose of processing and whether data is used for that purpose,
know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom your data is transferred,
request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data,
request deletion or destruction of your data under the conditions of Article 7 KVKK,
request that corrections, deletions and destructions are notified to third parties who received the data,
object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

9. How to apply

In line with the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Applications to the Data Controller, send your request with information that allows us to identify you:

in writing with a wet signature to the address above, or
by email to contact@arbitextile.com from the email address you used in your enquiry.

We will reply free of charge within 30 days at the latest. If the request involves an additional cost, the fee schedule set by the Turkish Personal Data Protection Board may apply.
